Weather

This weather is cazy, was in the 100's and this week in the 80's!  And poor Maui all burned up like a war zone!  Need to check on how I am going to survive for appointments and prescription's when I am unable to walk because of my lower spine closing. 

Here we go again!  Got busy this week.  Wednesday went to Bel Air to get a prescription from my doctor, finally got to JC Penny's to finish my gift card up from 3 years ago, only to find they don't have the nightgowns that I like.  Don't know if I like the ones that I bought.  Then stopped at Walgreen's to get my prescription filled and to let them know they put the wrong doctor on the one I got last month. Of course they told me that they couldn't correct it but if anyone called about it they would tell them the mistake!!  Had to rst up today, so tomorrow will go to the bank, get gas and go to the store.

Got a lot done today!  Went to my Library Book club, finished and discussed reading "If the Creek Don't Rise" by Leah Weiss.  Some gave it a 4 1/2  and others gave it a 5.  All about the people in the Appalachian Mts in 1970 and a young girl named Sadie Blue Hicks.  Starting for next month I got a book and an Audio  device,thought I would try that this time for "Grief Cottage" by Gail Godwin.

Then went to Home Depot looking for a pot to re pot my orchid so it can drain when I water it.  Found a pot and the gravel to set it on for humidity.  Will probably have to wait for someone to help me since it is awkward with very long stems.

Stopped for gasoline and the prices sure are going up.  Regular gas was $2.719 but since April is my birth date I got 25 cents off on the gallon!! Yippee!!!  Then stopped at Checkers and got a hamburger to take home. Was all tired out so that was my day!💦💦💦

Another weekend!  Mostly sunny today but not too warm for spring.  Did my bank statement and wrote a note to my cousin Eileen in Monroeville, PA.  Talked to Burt on the phone, discussed The Kitchen that I like to watch on TV.  Beltone called yesterday to cancel my 6 month appointment with them.  Amy went to the hospital with her Mother and will call me back on Monday to reschedule. Nothing exciting or unexciting going on today so this will be a short blog!

Had a hard time logging on to my blog this time, it seems like the format has changed, but with a lot of looking around finally found it!  I really should  post more often, it seems like the days are flying by and I don;t do so many things that I should. Nothing exciting happening in my world lately,  Just had another birthday on the 3rd of this month.  Had a heart valve replacement in 2016, I think I am a mass if artificial things! Must get busy with some every day things!

Well, finally after 4 months of doctors & painful tests, I need a hip replacement.  Scheduled for 9/3/13 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.  It gets more painful as the days go by, so can't wait until it is done and over with. Before then I have a lot of things to do in preparation,  orientation, tests, doctor appointment, medication etc. 

All I want is to be able to do the things I did before all this started.  Like shop, church, trips, meetings etc. I'm not asking for much am I!!?  My 3 Sons will be here for the surgery and to help me so hope I can come home instead of going to rehab.

Oh, I do have a new great granddaughter now.
