Well, finally after 4 months of doctors & painful tests, I need a hip replacement. Scheduled for 9/3/13 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital. It gets more painful as the days go by, so can't wait until it is done and over with. Before then I have a lot of things to do in preparation, orientation, tests, doctor appointment, medication etc.
All I want is to be able to do the things I did before all this started. Like shop, church, trips, meetings etc. I'm not asking for much am I!!? My 3 Sons will be here for the surgery and to help me so hope I can come home instead of going to rehab.
Oh, I do have a new great granddaughter now.

Gee! Didn't realize it has been so long since I Blogged. Time is flying by. After 20 years as a volunteer for AARP/IRS tax program I decided to give it up. Also gave up being secretary for my condo association, but still am Treasurer, that doesn't take up a lot of time. And it is a good thing because my lower spine is giving me a fit and I can't walk too well.
Had PT and that didn't help, now will see a spine doctor next week. Maybe will need to go to Pain Management.
AARP Chapter #436 gave up after 46 years. As Historian for the chapter I got together how it began and put it in our Historical Society in Bel Air, MD. Now have finally got information together to show the end of a wonderful Chapter. Will be adding that to the beginning as soon as I can.
Expecting my 2nd Great Granddaughter very soon now!
That's it for now.
